Privacy statement
- Responsible for content
- Personal data you submit on this website, such as your name, e-mail address or the content of an enquiry, is used only for the purpose you submitted it for, kept securely and not passed on without your consent; enquiries are kept for six months in case of follow-up questions. When you visit a page, the web server also records technical data: browser and operating system, referring page, IP address and time of access. This is needed to deliver the pages and to keep the site secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); the records are not linked to you as a person and are not evaluated further unless the site is misused.
- Data protection
- We pass personal information about you to various external companies who are responsible for technical maintenance or who work on our behalf and assist us in conducting business transactions. All of these companies and agents are required to comply with our Privacy Policy.
- Cookies
- Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device using the browser. They do no harm. We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit. If you do not want this, you can set up your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and allow this only in individual cases. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website.
- Privacy Policy for the use of Facebook
- The Facebook icon on our pages is a link stored on this site; it transmits nothing to Facebook until you click it. Where a Facebook plugin or post is embedded on a page, it is loaded only after you accept the External media category in the cookie banner or click the Load content button on the placeholder. The embed then transmits your IP address, browser and operating system data, the time and the page you are on, and it may set cookies; if you are logged in to Facebook, the visit can be linked to your account. Provider for users in the EEA is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland. Legal basis is your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; you can withdraw it at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer. Meta is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR); where that does not apply, standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c)) are used. - Privacy Policy for the use of Google Analytics
- This site uses Google Analytics 4. The Google tag (gtag.js) is loaded from Google only after you accept the Analytics category in the cookie banner; without that consent no request is made. The tag then records the pages you open, the time, the referring page, your browser and operating system and an approximate location; Google Analytics 4 uses your IP address to derive that location but does not store it. Cookies are set to recognise your browser on later visits. Provider for users in the EEA is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Legal basis is your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; you can withdraw it at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer. Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR); where that does not apply, standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c)) are used. - Privacy Policy for the use of Google reCAPTCHA
- Forms on this site are protected with Google reCAPTCHA. When you open such a form, reCAPTCHA is loaded from Google and checks whether the entry comes from a person or from an automated program. Transmitted are your IP address, browser and operating system, the time, the page carrying the form, your form input and interaction data such as mouse movements and keystrokes. The purpose is security and the prevention of abuse; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting our forms from spam and automated attacks, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Since 2 April 2026 Google processes reCAPTCHA data as our processor under the Google Cloud Data Processing Addendum. Provider for users in the EEA is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR); where that does not apply, standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c)) are used. - Privacy Policy for the use of Mailchimp
- If you subscribe to our newsletter, the form on this site posts your e-mail address to Mailchimp, which sends the newsletter on our behalf as our processor. We use double opt-in: you receive a confirmation e-mail, and the subscription only starts when you click the link in it. Stored are your e-mail address, your IP address, browser and operating system and the time of the subscription and of the confirmation, and whether a newsletter was opened and its links followed. - Privacy Policy for the use of Matomo
- This site uses the open source analysis software Matomo to count visits and to see which pages are read. Matomo runs on servers of our processor, cloud19, in Austria, under an agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR; no third party receives the data and there is no transfer to a third country. Recorded are the pages you open, the time, the referring page, your browser and operating system and your IP address, which is shortened by at least two bytes before it is stored. Cookies are set only after you accept the Analytics category in the cookie banner; the legal basis is then your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, and you can withdraw it at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer. Where Matomo is operated without cookies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in an anonymous measurement of reach, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
